Family Values
Every steady hand was taught by another.
The Brief
A forty-second public-service film on family upbringing — a surgeon, a flood rescuer and an engineer, each shown under pressure, and the parent behind each one. One line to carry: pass on good family values, raise a new generation.
Scene by Scene
- 0:00

Under pressure
A surgeon’s eyes above the mask, a bead of sweat at the temple. The film opens in the middle of the test — the question of where steadiness comes from is asked before anyone speaks it.
- 0:04

The flood line
Night, storm surge, a rescuer shouldering sandbags into the water. Three working lives are introduced at their hardest moment; none of them is given a name.

The late shift
An engineer alone with the plans on three screens, the office dark around him. Composure shown as concentration — the film treats a quiet desk with the same weight as a flood.

Where it comes from
A father carrying his son through a rain-soaked lane; a carpenter’s hands at the bench. The answer arrives as memory — it was taught at home, by example, long before it was needed.

The relay
The surgeon at the ward door, the rescuer resting against the sandbags, the engineer at dawn. Family values as a relay, upbringing as a spark — each man shown in the calm after the work.

Hand to hand
Each meets his father, palm to palm — in a hospital corridor, at the flood line, at home. The handover the voice has described is finally made physical.

The line
The end card: pass on good family values, raise a new generation. The film ends on its brief, stated plainly, after forty seconds of proof.
