The Wedding Micro-Film
Their whole story, told before the vows.
The Brief
A pre-wedding micro-film that tells the couple's whole story — the first cup of tea, the two years apart, the shore where they found each other again — premiered on the ceremony screen, in front of everyone it was about.
Scene by Scene
- 0:15

The ceremony opens
A seaside venue at golden hour — rows of family and friends facing a screen beside the sea. The film begins where it will end: at the wedding, the whole story about to play for the people in these chairs.
- 1:00

The friends
A bar at night, laughter, arms caught mid-embrace — the life around the couple before there was a couple. The film takes its time getting to romance; it starts with the world they lived in.
- 1:40

A cup of tea
A paper cup passes from his hand to hers, held a beat longer than a handoff needs. The first meeting is staged as the smallest possible gesture — the film trusts the audience to know what it is.
- 2:10

The waterfront
The two of them walking the bay at sunset, the skyline and the wheel burning behind them. The city is shot like a third character — the place their story happened, given a frame worthy of it.
- 3:20

The hospital
A corridor, an embrace that is not romantic but load-bearing. The film keeps the hard chapter — whatever this year was, it belongs in the story, and the wedding means more for it.
- 4:40

Two years apart
A galaxy-printed bookmark passes between their hands — 'these past two years apart' — the film's one recurring object, standing in for every unphotographed day of the distance.
- 5:10

Her tears
Night, garden lights soft behind her, tears held without cutting away — the bookmark in frame. The film lets the cost of the two years land before it resolves them.
- 5:50

The shore
Two hands laced in the sand, shot so close the beach becomes a landscape. Reunion rendered as touch — no dialogue, no location card, just the fact of it.
- 6:45

The vows
Back at the ceremony: the kiss under white canopies, petals down the aisle, the sea behind the palms. The story the guests just watched arrives at the moment they are sitting in.
